There's a new air Jordan 2009(2k9) teaser circulating.

Leading to the Air Jordan 2009 (2K9) launch, a press release by Jordan Brand unveiled the sneakers last week, and now a video advertisement has surfaced to promote the next chapter of the Air Jordan collection.

The video flies the Air Jordan 2009 in from cyberspace to a blacktop court, and then takes off. The open-ended, bizarre flick flows like an uncharted trip to Mars.All together the commercial makes the 2k9 Jordan shoe look extremely cool.

The performance-first design and makeup of the Air Jordan 2009 does shine through this 43-second teaser.

Launch of the Air Jordan 2009 is scheduled for February 14th, 2009.

Melo M5

Here’s a preview of two Air Jordan Melo M5s that will be on store shelves at the beginning of the new year. The Melo M5 pictured above features black, metallic silver and white. The majority of the sneaker is made up of black with white surrounding the side panel. The second of Carmelo Anthony’s new sneaker releasing is designed to match the Denver Nuggets jersey and sports white, metallic silver, university blue and taxi with hints of yellow appearing on the tongue. Both will be available on January 1st, 2009 retailing at $128.

Skinny Dunks...Its for the ladies!

Staying true to the original design ethos of Nike, Nike Sportswear remixed an icon with a distinct focus on innovation. Specially made for the female consumer, the “Skinny” Dunk is Nike Sportswear’s offer for the female who loves authenticity that fits with her wardrobe. Keeping the same silhouette of the “real” deal born in 1985 on the basketball court, Nike Design Director Jesse Leyva worked with a strong team of female designers to adjust the fit of the shoe to the female body.

“We don’t have to reinvent the wheel”, says Leyva. “When you look at the shoe, it’s the Dunk, the icon, nothing more nothing less.” But when you put it on, you discover the difference. “It’s less bulky, because of the special last we used.” Nike design is all about listening to the athlete. Jordan Takes It From The Court To Formal Events

Jordan Brand looks to change things up with the addition to the Air Jordan Blase to the Jordan rotation. The Blase is a more fashionable and formal sneaker that won’t be getting any time on the courts. The Blase is made up of most a black leather upper with red and white accents appearing in the lacing area. Furthermore, the Jumpman logo is placed at the heel while Jordan is written on the strap.

LT 1 World

For the release of the Ladainian Tomlinson Nike Air Force 1 “LT 1 World” Quickstrike, San Diego’s “Attic” and “Blends” will release 50 pairs, and 21 random pairs will be signed by LaDainian Tomlinson. Both stores will be giving away one pair with tickets to the Chargers’ night game against the New England Patriots. If you are the lucky one that receives the tickets, you and a guest will be car-serviced to the game, where you will enjoy plaza level tickets with access to the lightning pavilion!

The sneakers will release at both spots on October 12, 2008 at 2pm.

Attic will have an X Box Room (compliments of Microsoft) and some yummy food so that you can enjoy the game at the store. Early arrival at both stores is highly suggested.

New AJ1 and Six Ring Color Ways

This weekend marks the release of a few Air Jordan models, including highlights like the Air Jordan 1 Retro and Six Rings, both consisting of the Olympic theme. The Air Jordan 1 is making a strong return in the retro scene with the likes of this Olympic model and a host of others over this past year.

Next year is no exception either, a variety of models in several forms has already been confirmed, but nevertheless this a positive sign for Air Jordan 1 fans. The other model releasing alongside the AJ1 is the Six Rings, a rather new model seen in a few select styles including the popular Olympic combination.
